PRACTICE AT THE KART CIRCUIT

Use of the Kart Circuit in the Speedway Complex.

We lease the facility from the Speedway (NQIRMA) on Race Meeting Nights. We do not have ownership of the complex and so therefore must abide by the NQIRMA procedures.

CLUB PRACTICE SESSIONS – FRIDAY NIGHT/SATURDAY AFTERNOON PRIOR TO A RACE MEETING 

Our club practice sessions are held on the Friday night 5.30pm - 10.00pm  or Saturday afternoon 2.00pm - 6.00pm  prior to a Race Meeting.
The cost of $10 per driver for practice covers the costs of $200.00 to turn the lights on for the benefit of drivers.

1. Payment of the $10 fee MUST be paid prior to going on the track, the butt portion of the ticket is attached to the support stays of the Nassar Panel

2. Payment can be made to the designated Person on the day.

3. We will be checking karts and if you do not display your receipt then you will not be allowed to practice.

UNSUPERVISED PRACTICE:- Total Cost $20.00 per driver

 All karters must be designated Kart Club Members.

2.

If wishing to have a Practice please, contact Liz Holman (SVS) Ph: 4033 2555 Mon -Fri Bus hours. Payment of $20 is required with a $50 deposit for the Gate Key, Deposit will be refunded on return of Gate Key. Key is to be returned IMMEDIATELY after practice session is completed.

 On arrival at the facility, if gate is locked/dummy locked please relock/dummy lock on entry to complex, DO NOT LEAVE GATE WIDE OPEN.

4.

Receipt for fees paid must be available should caretaker or other club member request to see it. AKA Licence should also be present to confirm you are a current AKA licence holder.

5.

 Any unlicensed or non club member cannot hire the facility to practice.

6.

There MUST be two persons present when practicing.
 When practising ALL Safety Apparel must be worn. The caretaker can and will stop any practise should safety apparel not be worn.

7.

 Minikarts/Midgets and Rookies are permitted to race & practice together.
Juniors are not permitted to race or practice with Midgets, Rookies or Seniors.
Senior Drivers are not permitted to race or practice with Midgets, Rookies or Juniors as per AKA Ruling 13.20.

8.

 

Should Speedway vehicles/bikes be practising at time of entry please liaise with and arrange for entry into centre of track and time practice sessions so that neither is practising at the same time. i.e if speedway vehicle/bikes circulating wait till they stop and than karts may practice, please liaise with each other.





Race Day Practice
1.  Practice cannot proceed until track is setup.
2. You have been Scrutineered.
3. The Steward or Clerk of the Course for the day has arrived.
4.  There is NO Practice until the above three are in place.
